AHS Season 8: Apocalypse



After 5 seasons, we still love working on American Horror Story.   Always fresh and provocative, bringing together a humbling collection of the industries best talent. It's the kind of project that pushes us to do our best work.  To live up the high bar set by every other creator involved. It's a wonderful campaign to be a part of and season 8 took us farther than we've ever gone before. 

The sections that follow include work we designed and initiatives we coordinated for 22 partner sites, including Desktop and Mobile display ads, custom Pinterest pins, a Snapchat AR Lens, and a custom publisher partnership with Thought Catalog – The Arcana Gallery.

Fan Participation

The Arcana Gallery was created in partnership with Thought Catalog to allow fans to become brand ambassadors by sharing their favorite quotes from past seasons. We created 10 custom animated 3D chapters that represented key symbols in the franchise, providing fans with beautifully designed imagery to pair with their favorite moments.


Hyper-Targeting: Reaching the Right Audience

We partnered with Pinterest to craft a series of integrated, attention grabbing placements.  Creative designed to break the Pinterest grid pulls fans out of their mindless scroll, and each was associated with a variety of key search terms to ensure it landed with maximum impact.


Transforming Your World

A series of AR Lenses produced in partnership with Snapchat offered fans a way to merge their world with elements from American Horror Story.  From transforming your face, to bringing the Apocalypse into your space - get creeped out!

These Snapchat Discover ads offered fans an engaging glimpse at new and returning cast members while funneling them directly to the Lens experience.
