We blurred the lines between reality and fiction by creating an AI chat bot personality named Antonia Critt - which turned out to be an acronym for the rebellion: Anti Traction. Interaction with her led to a long form, dynamic conversation in which you could uncover in-world content.
We created an exclusive web series in which the characters were interrogated after the film's timeline. Without creating spoilers, it left fans wondering, 'How did we get here?' - prompting them to want to see the film for answers.
These videos were written, produced and edited in-house - with three-time academy award winner Oliver Stone directing. He also plays the role of the 'Interrogator'.
We wrote, produced and edited a digital feature that put audiences into the virtual seat of The Receiver, creating direct face-to-face encounters with The Giver, as portrayed "in-character" by Academy-Award winner Jeff Bridges himself. Leveraging one of the earliest iterations of Google Chrome's speech recognition tech, we raised the experience to a higher level by creating a hands-free and no-click environment. This system tracked and moderated user responses, ultimately triggering a series of affecting 'video memory transfers'.
